As mentioned already in our main project thread, we are hoping to purchase an Apple iPad for Junsu for his 25th birthday.

Currently our goal will be to raise $1000 USD (roughly the same amount we raised last year)

That should cover all costs of the iPad + accessories and the cost of shipping.

However, whether we get the 64GB iPad will depend on whether our funds surpass our minimum goal. If we don’t raise enough to cover all expenses, we will have to opt with buying the 16GB or 32GB iPad instead.

So your contribution is most definitely appreciated!

We did it last year; I know we can do it again!

Also, to everyone who makes a donation, please select a song that you would like to have included in the iPad. We will buy it off of itunes and load it on for Junsu. ^^

FAQ & How To’s…

Is there a minimum of how much each person must donate?
No, however if you are donating via Paypal, we ask that you donate a minimum of $5 USD.

If I donate through Paypal, is there a fee?
Yes there is a fee, but for all Paypal transactions in the past, genna has covered that fee and she will continue to do so this time around as well. So you can rest assured that your entire contribution will go towards the project itself.

What is the criteria for selecting a song, are there any restrictions?
You are free to choose any song you like, it can be in any language or it can even be an instrumental, but it must be available for purchase from iTunes. We will not be doing any illegal downloading, nor will we be going out to get the actual hardcopy of the CD. Try to pick a song that you like, and at the same time Junsu might like as well. If we are unable to buy the song you have chosen, we will contact you via PM.

How do I contribute?
Click on the ‘DONATE’ button at the top of our page, it will redirect you to PayPal.

When you donate, please state that it’s for the ‘iXiah: THE Gift Project’ or else your contribution will go to our ‘For Hope Project’ or our forum funds in general. Also, remember to include your username, if you rather remain anonymous, please state that as well so we will know.

If you would like to mail us your donation, please PM genna and she will get back to you as soon as possible.

The set deadline for collecting all donations will be October 1st, 2010. Please try to send your donation before then.

By the way..I'm from Malaysia..So if I'm sending it through Western Union, should I change my country money to USD??

Lizzie, since i used western union last time, no need to convert your currency to USD. so let's say if you want to send $5, you have to give the equivalent amount in RM to western union, plus service charge.

Unfortunately, we can not say for certain that Junsu does not own an iPad already. The idea for this project came before the iPad became available in Japan (Apple launched it on the 28th of May?). So there is a high possibility that Junsu might have one since Yoochun has one... but I don't think we will change plans for this project. It was quite difficult to think of what to get Junsu... And hey! Our iPad will be different from the one he has (if he has one that is) since ours will be completely xiah-sshi filled. ^^

I really wish I could donate, but I won't get paid so soon yet. Sad. Hopefully I'll try, but for future projects, I'll try.
