[Xiah-sshi 25th!] PROJECT: iXIAH (Overview)

Hello duckies! It’s that time of the year again! We here at Xiah-sshi are going to get started on our project for Junsu’s birthday coming this December. Yes, it is a little early, but that’s the way we like to do things here on Xiah-sshi. It’s always good to plan ahead and have enough of time to get everything finished to perfection. ^__^

• iXiah: THE Gift from XHS

  We have decided to purchase an Apple iPad to give to Junsu.
  Everyone who makes a donation may select a song to be added onto the device.

  Just like last year, we will be donating together as a forum, under the name of Xiah-sshi to World Vision. The receipt of the donation along with a list of all members that donate will be included in our gift package to Junsu. Lets make him proud!

• iXiah: Endless Love ~ Simple Questions, Heartfelt Answers

  In addition to birthday wishes, we will be compiling other fan messages as well. We have included several questions/prompts that we hope you will help us answer. All of your responses will be compiled and stored in the iPad for Junsu to view!

FAQ’s

Q: How will this project get to Junsu?
A: Everything will be delivered the same way our 24th birthday project was delivered, directly into the hands of Mama Kim. For information on our last project, please visit the thread!

Q: Can I help advertise the project?
A: Certainly! We would love it if you’d help out. Just snag a banner or poster and tell everyone you know!

Q: Do I have to be a member of XHS to join this project?
A: Nope. The birthday wish portion of our project is the only section that requires you to register on the forum. All ‘Endless Love’ messages are to be sent directly to our email: xiahsshiforums@gmail.com If you are not a member of XHS, but would like to contribute to our donation to World Vision and/or our iXiah gift to Junsu, please email us as well!

Q: Can I send a gift for you to deliver to Junsu?
A: Sorry, we are not collecting individual gifts for this project. However, you are more than welcome to make a contribution towards the cost of the iPad we are getting Junsu.

Q: What language should I write my message in?
A: You are welcome to write in English, Korean, and/or Japanese for the birthday wish portion of our project. As always though, please keep in mind what is appropriate and what an inappropriate message is. All ‘Endless Love’ messages/letters should be in ENGLISH however. No exceptions.

Q: Why must the ‘Endless Love’ messages be in English?
A: Birthday wishes are okay to be written in Korean or Japanese because those are short and therefore, our XHS translators can easily check over them. ‘Endless Love’ messages however, will be much longer and our admin genna will be the only one looking at those before compiling them onto the iPad.

Unfortunately, we can not say for certain that Junsu does not own an iPad already. The idea for this project came before the iPad became available in Japan (Apple launched it on the 28th of May?). So there is a high possibility that Junsu might have one since Yoochun has one... but I don't think we will change plans for this project. It was quite difficult to think of what to get Junsu... And hey! Our iPad will be different from the one he has (if he has one that is) since ours will be completely xiah-sshi filled. ^^

this is going to be an awesome birthday project for Junsu!
I wasn't sure where to ask this... but I'm wondering, are we sure that Junsu doesn't already have an iPad. I'm not questioning the gift idea (cause I LOVE the idea of it), but I think I saw a picture of Yoochun on soompi using an iPad and makes me wonder if Junsu has one - I'm not 100% sure though.

So excited about all the things going on for Junsu! I love all the personal input that will be put on the iPad. Thank you staff for planning all of this (and so early too! you guys are really on top of things)!! Totally awesome. I missed it last year but this year I will definitely be participating later after I start getting income! =)
